A mixture of silk, hand-painted silk, fine Japanese cotton and fibre has been used to illustrate the patterns and colours of light projected through trees.  Buttons, beads and hand stitching depict the woodland debris and tracks of wildlife.

 As I spend so much time out and about with my sketchbook., I love to work some of my drawings into collages using re-cycled fabrics, beads, shells and other found materials.  All my collages are hand-stitched and original.  Where possible, I use natural materials such as wool, silk and cotton.  Beads are usually glass, semi-precious stone and crystal.  I also use shell, copper wire and mesh and a collection of buttons, some very old.
